SFD is partnering with Nationwide Children's Hospital to provide a program entitled Signs of Suicide or S.O.S. for our students. The Signs of Suicide Prevention Program is a school-based program that has been lauded for both its valuable content and sensitive approach. The S.O.S. program reduces the stigma often associated with depression and anxiety and educates students, parents, and educators of the support that is available to deal with such issues in a healthy manner.
Juniors and seniors will take part in this program from Tuesday, November 8th through Thursday, November 10th within their regularly scheduled Theology classes.  The freshmen and sophomore classes will have their respective turns upon our return from Christmas break from Tuesday, January 10th through Thursday, January 12th.
In order for our parents to learn more about this program, an information session will be offered on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the school theater.

Daily Reflection

"Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections, but instantly set about remedying them - every day begin the task anew. " ~St. Francis de Sales
