The nomination window is now open for the  2016 Katherine Kaufer Christoffel  Founder's Award , CLOCC's annual recognition of a local leader in the field of childhood obesity prevention.

Christoffel, MD, MPH, who founded CLOCC and also served as the Consortium's Medical and Research Director.

Founder's Award nominees are innovators, visionaries and agents of change. Above all, they strive to work across boundaries and demonstrate both passion and progress in the fight against childhood obesity while implementing and advancing the strategies outlined in CLOCC's blueprint.

The nomination period will close at 5:00 p.m. CT, Tuesday, November 8, 2016. The recipient of this year's Award will be honored at CLOCC's Quarterly Meeting on Wednesday, December 7. Please note that the nominee should have been based in Chicago when performing the work recognized and must still be located in the Chicagoland area.
