Develop Your Management Skills

Earn credit toward your Professional Indian Housing Manager Certification (PIHMC) through the Leadership Institute. Throughout 2016 we will be offering courses that can lead to your PIHMC based on your chosen training track. Following are the current courses scheduled for 2016.

Course Times and Exam Requirements

Training begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. On the afternoon of the final day a course examination will be administered from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Participants must complete and pass the examination in order to receive credit for the course.

Students, please consider the examination end time when making your return travel arrangements.

Leadership Institute Registration Fees

Indian Tribe or Housing Authority Employee - $700.00: Individuals directly associated with a tribal housing program that receives Indian Housing Block Grant funds.

NAIHC Associate or Individual Member - $725.00: Includes organizations, vendors or individuals that are members of NAIHC for networking with Indian tribes and housing organizations, but do not have voting status.

All Other Students - $800.00: Individuals who wish to attend a Leadership Institute course, but are not employees of a housing program, members of the housing board or committee, or members of the tribe's governing body.
