November Talks on Tuesdays Webinar

This talk will provide the participants a brief overview of the recent Waiver Redesign that went into effect September 1.  The session will focus on eligibility criteria, how to access the waivers, waitlist information and services available.

PRESENTERS:

Erin Austin, LCSW
Erin has worked with children and their families for over 10 years. She graduated with a Masters in Social Work from VCU in 2006 and subsequently obtained her LCSW in 2009. She has worked with Richmond Behavioral Health Authority since graduating from VCU. In her current role as the Manager of Children Services, she oversees Children's Developmental Services including system management of the Part C Program of the ITC of Richmond. Erin is also the parent of a child who recently transitioned from Part C Services.

Barry Seaver
Barry, Community Resource Consultant (CRC), DBHDS, Division of Developmental Services, Office of Provider Development - has worked with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities for 30 years. In his current role as a CRC, he provides technical assistance, training, coaching and mentoring to Community Services Boards and various private providers in order to improve their service provision and quality.
