Heritage Month celebrates all
Palo Alto kicked off its annual Heritage Month celebration on Monday, Oct. 10, a month-long series of events focused on Latino/a, and Native American history, culture, language, and arts. Juan Tejeda, coordinator of the Heritage Month events and the Mexican-American Studies (MAS) program organized a wide variety of events spanning from now until Nov. 14, each with the goal of challenging students to think critically about their heritage.
Program Highlight

Palo Alto College has partnered with South San Antonio ISD and Southwest ISD to  provide free swim lessons to approximately 2,000 second-grade students from both school districts during the 2016-2017 academic year at the College's Aquatic Center. 

Event Highlight

Palo Alto College is an early voting site for the 2016 elections from Monday, Oct. 24 to Friday, Nov. 4. Residents can cast ballots in Ozuna 132.

Saturday, Oct. 29: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sunday, Oct 30: Noon-6 p.m.
