IRRIGATION SEASON IS OVER
The forecast going into this week will start dry but rain is forecast towards the end of the week and into next weekend again. Most plant and lawn growth are slowing down, reducing their need for water. Many sites will not need additional irrigation. As such, we are erring on the side of dry since it is late in the season. With cooler weather and consistent fall rains near, keeping sites dry is our plan to conserve water and help keep your budget in line. There are a few exceptions which may need ongoing irrigation including seasonal color beds and newly planted landscapes.
MOWING WILL BE COMPLICATED BY THE RAIN

With the wet weather we also return to challenging maintenance operations. Although we are heading into winter, the warm weather has kept grass growing, requiring continued mowing. The heavy rain saturates the soil and makes mowing difficult and at times impossible. We are monitoring the weather and will mow when weather allows. We will be on a varied schedule to accomplish this and occasionally send our crews home on wet days and work later in the week or over the weekend as weather allows. We are sorry to change our schedule, but we do not want to damage your landscape with our activity.

LEAF REMOVAL IS STARTING

The cooler weather has stimulated many trees to shed their leaves. Although many trees are dropping earlier than normal, some may hold onto their leaves more typical to their normal habit. We will try our best to keep your property as tidy looking as possible. Leaves fall 24 hours a day and therefore even after our clean-up effort it can be hard to see the clean-up. This may make for a longer than normal messy leaf season.
