VIDEO HIGHLIGHT
1st and 2nd graders are singing Esah Enai by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach from a chapter in Tehillim where we ask Hashem to look out for and protect all the Jewish people who are in trouble.    

  
PAST RMBA HIGHLIGHTS 
NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED
Mazal Tov to Brian Shepetofsky (12th Grade) who was named a Commended Student in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program placing him in the top 5% of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2017 competition.  For more details click here

Rabbi Kellerman's High School Mens Seminar class recently visited the ERJCC and met with Executive Director Joel Dinkin to learn more about the organization.

NEW BEGINNINGS 
RMBA was honored to welcome Rabbi Yehoshua Wender from Young Israel of Houston to speak to our Upper School before Rosh Hashana.  And a big THANK YOU to Sheldon Bootin  and Steven Plumb for blowing the shofar in the mornings for our students. 


NAILED IT
Morah Rivki's 3rd graders started learning Rashi and manipulated the letters of Rashi script using playdough to write their names in Rashi letters! Gayah Hampel proudly shares her handywork below. 



GETTING INTO CHARACTER
This past week in Torah Cafe, the middle schoolers met Eliezer, Avraham Avinu's top servant, and enjoyed wonderful hospitality, while learning about who he was.


GARDEN GREATNESS
Eager students in Ms. Fowler and Ms. Bigham's classes  are preparing their container garden to plant radishes. 


ROLL OUT
Kindergarten students were eager to assist in rolling out their new floor mat marking the final touch on their beautifully decorated new classroom. 


TASTE TESTERS
The first Ulpan Maasi program for our elementary school students kicked off last week where our Bnot Sherut created  an authentic Israeli experience and students tasted a variety of fruits and foods that symbolize Rosh Hashana. (l-r) Natalie Bublil and Liel Vaknin.


ROSH HASHANA PLAY
Our 5th Graders shared a beautiful performance filled with singing and dancing in honor of Rosh Hashana last week.

EC 3 students Oshri Ratchcovski and Lila Jacobs are using their feet to practicing their counting skills.

Flag Football

Basketball
Basketball Tryouts will take place  on October 26 - October 30  for High School teams and  October 27 - October 30  for Middle School Teams.  Exact times will be posted in the upcoming weeks.
