A measure introduced in Congress (S. 3468) would amend the Small Business Act to require more training and education of small businesses and start-ups with respect to the research and experimentation credit. If enacted, it would require the SBA and the IRS to develop a partnership for training related to federal tax credits that benefit small businesses. The training would be in-person and online.
