Experience this spectacular example of of partnerships in learning, the event will feature students and faculty from Lanier Elementary Vanguard for the Arts, Greiner Middle Exploratory Arts Academy, and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTWHSVA.)
You'll receive lesson plans for each station throughout the museum.
There will be transportation from both hotels.

GDYO kicks off its 45th season with the music of Berlioz, Gounod, Chausson, and Dvořák, and with special guest soprano, Dee Donasco. The top ensemble, brings together 115 of the DFW area's best high school musicians. Scott Cantrell of the Dallas Morning News has said that "Dallas should be proud to have such ambassadors" and "...lucky are these kids to be initiated into symphonic music in so professional an environment. Even the ones who don't go on to performing careers will be passionate and knowledgeable and demanding audiences of tomorrow."
Repertoire includes:
Berlioz, Benvenuto Cellini Overture;
Gounod, Ah Je Vieux from Romeo et Juliette with soloist Dee Donasco;
Chausson, Poem de Lamore et de La Mer with soloist Dee Donasco; and
Dvořák, Symphony No. 8.
Voices of Change

Voices of Change, the Southwest's premiere classical music ensemble performing late 20th and 21st century "new" music, will present the first concert of their 42nd season 2016 featuring the music of composer Shih- Hui Chen. The concert will also feature a traditional Nanguan music and theater group from Taiwan making their debut in the Dallas area. A pre-concert discussion with composers Margaret Barrett and Shih- Hui Chen will be held at 6:30pm.
