PRAYER CONCERNS FROM THE NORTHEAST GEORGIA PRESBYTERY OFFICE
Last week, Rev. Penny Hill, Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, passed away. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Please
click here to find a letter from J. Herbert Nelson, II, Stated Clerk of the General Assembly, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) about Penny and her faithful service.
Also, Rev. Linda McCord, minister member of our Presbytery and who will be Honorably Retired at the October 22nd Stated Meeting, has asked for prayers as she has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease and Ulcerative colitis.
Ruling Elder Kathy Adams also asked for prayers as she undergoes a procedure at Emory Hospital on October 13th to help with her spinal pain.
Please continue to pray for Rev. William "Bill" Quarles, Honorably Retired, and his family on the death of his daughter from cancer and his granddaughter from an auto accident.
Please remember those who were affected by Hurricane Matthew as they begin to rebuild their lives. If you would like to help with the Presbyterian Disaster Relief effort for Hurricane Matthew you can send your financial support to the Presbytery Office and designate DR000148 with reference to Matthew.
There are many people who are hurting. Please take a moment and pray for help and healing.
