WKU Center for Research and Development logo WKU's Center for Research and Development is positioned to provide valuable laboratory and technology services to you. The CRD offers an ideal environment for businesses to collaborate with technology-based companies, practicing engineers and university scientists.


The CRD is home to WKU's Applied Research Centers which houses 18 scientific and service-oriented Centers. These Centers are ready to meet the research and technical needs of your company - the Advanced Materials Institute, Applied Physics Institute, Engineering, Manufacturing and Commercialization Center, Thermal Analysis Laboratory, and the Nondestructive Analysis (NOVA) Center work with third party industries across the nation.

Team Workforce Monthly Hiring Event
Team Workforce logo Team Workforce - a group of the community's job service providers - is hosting a Career Connection & Interview event on Oct. 26 from 8 - 11 a.m. at the Kentucky Career Center, 803 Chestnut Street, in Bowling Green. During this event, participating companies are able to conduct on-site interviews with candidates who have been screened by Team Workforce partners and meet the company's basic requirements.
 
A Career Connection & Interview event is held every fourth Wednesday of the month. Please contact  Sandra Baker or  Leigh Ann Tipton if you are interested in participating in an upcoming event.

GO bg Work Access Pass Program
Are Your Employees Eligible?
GO bg Bus The GO bg Work Access Pass Program is available to individuals from Bowling Green who are working a minimum of 22 hours a week and can provide a photo ID, proof of employment and meet the HUD income guidelines. WAPP includes six months of free, unlimited, GO bg transit rides for eligible individuals.

Past studies with the former Job Access Reverse Commute Program showed that within six months of obtaining gainful employment most individuals have obtained dependable transportation access through purchasing public transit passes, carpooling or purchasing a vehicle.

This program is made possible by Community Action of Southern Kentucky.

Pan-Oston Partners with Hope House
Efforts to Support Local High School Scholarship

Pan-Oston logo Pan-Oston's Outside & Garden group is partnering with the New
Creations Furniture division of Hope House, Inc. to make a difference in the Bowling Green community. Their mission is to sell handmade rustic furniture, providing financial support to help individuals in need of aid, shelter and spiritual guidance.

Any products purchased from the Outside & Garden group's e-commerce site will also fund a new scholarship program through the Community Foundation of South Central Kentucky.
