PUCC's Dan and Connie Burkhardt with Bryan Haynes highlighting their new ook Growing Up With the River. Illustrated with original paintings by Bryan Haynes, one of Missouri's leading landscape painters, Growing Up With the River takes a look at nine generations along the Missouri River. The stories offer a view of the communities, and sometimes the larger world, in each generation's childhood. Growing Up With the River reminds readers of all ages of what the river has been, and inspires thought of what it can become.

Joke
Two antennas got married. The ceremony wasn't much but the reception was excellent.
Inspiration
Chronic remorse, as all the moralists are agreed, is a most undesirable sentiment. If you have behaved badly, repent, make what amends you can and address yourself to the task of behaving better next time. On no account brood over your wrongdoing. Rolling in the muck is not the best way of getting clean. ~Aldous Huxley, Brave New World, 20th century
