Falling into Place...
Hoping everyone has some fun plans for our upcoming 3-day weekend. Please remember that school is closed on Monday; there will be no Child Care Programs that day. We will reconvene on Tuesday and look forward to a great week.

We will be hosting our annual Fall Book Fair  beginning on Tuesday next week. If you can lend a hand at the Fair, to volunteer. The Fair runs from Tuesday - Friday.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday evening from 6:30-7:30pm for arguably one of the best nights of the year - Bring Your Parent/Guardian to School Night! Let your child lead you through a mini-Montessori work cycle and share the wonder of the Montessori approach to learning.

assembly line We are putting the final touches on our Fall Service Day. On Tuesday, October 18th,  our Lower and Upper Elementary students will spend time at the NH Food Bank, our neighbor and long-term service day partner (to the right is our first service day in 2012). There, the students will put together food packages which the Food Bank distributes to   food insecure families across Southern New Hampshire. Many of our neighbors and friends in NH and across the nation lack consistent access to food. Here in our state, over 42,000 NH children are food insecure. About 10% of NH residents are living in poverty and facing serious hunger issues.  This annual MFCS Service Day provides our students with an opportunity to learn about community engagement. For information on hunger in NH, click here , and/or visit the NH Food Bank's website page about this issue.
