HPS Exhibiting at Automation Fair 2016
Be sure to visit the HPS booth at the Automation Fair 2016 event on Nov 9-10 in Atlanta, GA!
At this year's show, Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) will be showcasing multiple product lines, including U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) 2016 Compliant Transformers, Cast Resin Transformers, as well as Reactors.
The HPS team will be located in
Booth #1515, speaking with visitors about how HPS transformers and reactors are able to help with challenges within electrical systems, while simultaneously improving efficiency, power quality and profitability.
HPS' U.S. Marketing Manager, Mike Van Gheem, will also be hosting a Technical Session
(T47): "
Application of Transformers in Special Environments and Industries".
This technical session will take place at
1:00 PM on Nov 9 and 10.

HPS To Exhibit at SPS IPC Drives
Visit HPS at SPS IPC Drives 2016 at Messezentrum (Exhibition Center) in Nuremberg, Germany from Nov. 22-24, 2016.
SPS IPC Drives is Europe's leading exhibition for electric automation technology, drives and associated electrical equipment. The three-day show will focus on products and services from sectors such as control technology, IPCs, electric drive systems and components, industrial communications and many more.
HPS is one of more than 1,500 exhibitors currently registered. We will be located in Hall 3A, Stand #121 - be sure to come and see us!
With around 65,000 visitors during the 2015 event, HPS is excited to be exhibiting at SPS IPC Drives for the fourth time.

HPS Announces Q2 Financial Results
On July 28, 2016, HPS announced our financial results for the second quarter of 2016.
Highlights include overall increases in both US and Canadian sales, compared to the same quarter in 2015.

Winner of HPS Outstanding Scholar Award Announced
Duncan Lemette Johnston is the recipient of the 2016 HPS Outstanding Electrical Scholar Award.
Duncan is a student at Conestoga College in the Electrical Engineering Technology Program.
HPS would like to congratulate Duncan on this achievement and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.
This year,
Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) and its members have awarded a record-setting $136,000 across 53 scholarships to Canadian university and college students.

HPS Participates in Manufacturing Day 2016
HPS thoroughly enjoyed participating in Manufacturing Day 2016 - a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers.
On October 7, 2016, more than 2,300 events were held across North America, so that manufacturers could connect with future generations, and ensure the ongoing prosperity of the whole industry.
On this date, HPS hosted tours of our Guelph, ON facility for high school, college and university students.

HPS Highlights New Technologies at Solar Power International 2016
Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) recently attended Solar Power International in Las Vegas, NV. The show brought together more than 18,000 solar professionals from 80+ countries who wanted to learn about the latest in solar tech
and trends from across the industry.
The show was a great opportunity for HPS to meet with their customers and other attendees.
HPS supplies a number of important dry-type magnetic products to the solar market, including reactors,
isolation/step-up and auto transformers, grounding devices and medium voltage power transformers. HPS magnetic products are used in multiple areas within a typical solar system, including inverters and at the point of grid tie-in.
HPS plans to attend Solar Power International 2017 on September 10-13, 2017.

HPS Showcases VPI and Cast Resin Transformer Solutions at IEEE IAS-PCIC Technical Conference 2016
Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) recently attended the IEEE IAS-PCIC Technical Conference in Philadelphia, PA.
PCIC (Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee) is a premier forum for the exchange of experience in the practical application of electricity and instrumentation in various process industries.
HPS capitalized on this opportunity to meet with our customers and other attendees in the casual environment of our hospitality suite, to discuss specific applications and HPS product solutions that fit within the process industry segments.
This year's conference was very well attended, with HPS receiving the most traffic through our suite in the four years since we started supporting this energy vertical through PCIC. We appreciate the interest and support that our guests have shown HPS throughout the conference.
