It is time for the fall Eggs n Issues legislative breakfast, and you won't want to miss this one. With federal, state and local candidates running for office invited to attend and speak, this is the perfect time to meet all the candidates at one event. Early bird registration ends Friday, so don't delay. Because we are expecting a large turnout, the event will be held in the NEO A&M Ballroom. This is the 3rd year for the Sweet Street event. Businesses and organizations join First Assembly of God and First Baptist Churches to provide a safe, fun family event on Halloween. With approximately 3,000 attending last year, your help is needed. Please consider volunteering your time, setting up downtown or making a donation. Please help support this community event. Mark you calendar for Saturday, October 15 for the annual British Flyers Remembrance Day. There will be a fly-in, ceremony at GAR, and the program, "The Father I Never Met", in the Coleman Ballroom. If you have never attended this event, please plan to do so. If is a very moving remembrance of our history in Miami. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Community Crisis Center has many activities planned and the Bearskin Health is hosting a 5K run. Read more about all of these events in this email, and get involved! Have a great week!
