Pray for Us
If you have a prayer request, please email [email protected].

Dear Holy Rosary School Families,

Peace Builder Week was a wonderful opportunity to take time to learn more about what it means to be a Peace Builder and how each of us can create peace for each other.  Being peace builders is what we are called to do.  Teachers and students alike have been working on becoming better peace builders.  Father Roberto led the teachers in a reflection on different ways to pray to deepen our relationship with God.  Prayer is an important part of our Catholic identity, and we were happy to spend time learning how to prepare ourselves for quiet and meaningful prayer.  Our students also took time to deepen their relationship with God by participating in retreats that celebrated their Catholic identity and reminded them to be Christlike in their actions and in their words.  Christ was a perfect peace builder, and only by following Him can we become better peace builders ourselves.

Tomorrow, September 15th, we will be celebrating mass at 8:00 a.m.  I invite you to join us as part of our school community.  My prayer for our children and our community is that we work together to be more like Christ everyday.  As St. Therese of Liseux reminds us, "Let us go forward in peace, our eyes upon Heaven, the only goal of our labors."

The 7th and 8th grade classes enjoyed a wonderful day of reflection and growth in their retreat .  Maggie Craig, an inspirational speaker from the Franciscan University lead the students in talks about authenticity and cyber bullying.  The students played trust games, prayed and grew in their own faith, together as a Holy Rosary Family.

2nd Grade Retreat

3rd Grade Retreat
Each of us has an invisible bucket.  When our bucket is full, we feel great.  How do we fill our buckets like Jesus?
