USC Price School of Public Policy
Alumni in Action
Dear Price Alumni,

Just a few weeks ago, we hosted new parents and students at Trojan Family Weekend with a plethora of informative events that included a discussion on "the Real R.O.I" led by the Director of Price Undergraduate Programs,  Lavonna Lewis, and Assistant Professor  William Resh; a town hall conversation about the upcoming election featuring Assistant Professors Pamela McCann and Michael Thom; a welcome Dean's Breakfast; and a LEAP (Learning to Excel Academically and Professionally) hosted wine and cheese reception to wrap up the festivities. With these exciting events, Price saw over 90% participation of new and continuing parents and students.  We take great pride in helping to connect Price students and their families with the faculty, staff, and resources at Price that can ensure student success on campus and beyond.

These are some of the exciting events happening on campus this fall. Thank you for being a part of the USC Price School and we look forward to seeing you on campus at our next event.

Sincerely,

Jack H. Knott
Dean

"Price faculty and students help solve real social challenges. Nothing makes me happier than lobbying at City Hall or County and meeting a fellow alum who
says 'I love USC and what can we do to solve this traffic or homeless challenge?'"

INVESTING IN PRICE
Support the USC Price Public Safety Scholarship Fund!

This fall, the USC Price School of Public Policy is proud to announce the Public Safety Scholarship Fund which is designed to provide educational support for those who put their lives on the line to help others every day.

Through this fund, public safety professionals pursuing higher education will receive support to grow their capacity to serve the greater community.

LAPD Second Lieutenant Billy Brockway, USC Price BS `93 and EML `11, has pledged $25,000 to support this fund to provide an opportunity for his fellow public safety officers to have access to scholarship support. He knows first-hand how a USC education can help create safer cities and improve law enforcement community relations.

We invite you to  you join Billy in supporting the USC Price Public Safety Scholarship Fund and give back to public safety professionals who help us change the world every day.
