Hazing Policy
Hazing, by its very nature, is an activity that is counter to Luther's mission statement. Student organizations, teams, ensembles and groups are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the College's mission statement and the Code of Conduct. New members of organizations, teams, ensembles and groups can expect to participate in educational and fun activities that build teamwork and camaraderie among all members. Such activities are intended to create a sense of identity and commitment within a group and are generally acceptable and encouraged. Students should check with the appropriate staff, advisors, sponsors, and/or coaches if there is any question about an activity constituting hazing. The Hazing Policy can be reviewed in the Student Handbook.
