"It was so powerful to see the many beautiful people today, everyone happy and with so much love. I love you, I love you, I love you."
- Chantal, PWA Client
Welcome to Haskill's Farm!
For those whose journey with us ends today - a special congratulations to you. Today was no small feat and you should be very proud!

For those who are continuing with us to Montréal - welcome to camp, relax and enjoy the stunning view! (PS - If you have your tent set up within 6 feet of the edge of the cliff - you better move it!)

You made it through Day 1. Congratulations to Dianne Hind for winning the beautiful red bike donated by our friends at Cycle Solutions.

Thank you to Councillor Wong-Tam and from Oshawa, Deputy Mayor and Councillor Bob Chapman, and Councillor Nester Pidwerbecki for joining us.

Tips for Tomorrow
  • Get lots of rest tonight and stay HYDRATED tomorrow. Tomorrow is the longest day of the Bike Rally - it's 131 km!
  • Safety is key. While we know Day 1 was a lot of fun, we also know there were many riders not following the rules:
    • Stop at STOP signs and lights - this is the law people!
    • Single file...did I just say single file...yes! Please ride Single file.
    • Signal. Call out. Show those awesome Bike Rally arms and help your fellow riders know what their coming up to.
  • Enjoy the scenery - We ride through the countryside, crossing the swing bridge at Murray Canal and then follow the scenic and historic Loyalist Parkway (Hwy 33) before we stop for lunch at the Henderson's in Consecon. After lunch we cycle across Prince Edward County toward Picton take a ride on the Glenora Ferry and once we're on the other side, it's just a short ride to camp.
  • For all the Riders, wear your Bike Rally Day 2 sponsor jersey.
  • Swimming and showers are both available at camp; however, showers are limited and may have long wait times. Showers take only $1.00 coins.
  • At camp on Day 4 is the Bike Rally's Candlelight Celebration. For those of you who wish to share your story and experiences during this special ceremony, please see Todd Davies, Ted Robinson or Mike Twamley before Day 4.
