Happy Fall!
This month we are sharing with you our favorite memories of the Baltimore Ravens and M&T Bank Stadium.
Barb -
I was fortunate to be invited to the WBAL suite to watch a Ravens game and the wonderful Nora Koontz invited my daughter and me to see the control room as well as go to the post-game press conference in the tunnel. It was fantastic!! We got to meet Joe Flacco when he was fairly new on the team, Ray Rice and Ladarius Webb. To make it even more exciting we met Ray Lewis walking out of the player's locker room. My daughter said "Mom that was the most amazing experience I've ever had!" It was pretty amazing for me too!!
Timmy -
For many years, we have tailgated at my son's house in Federal Hill. Just before we head to M&T, we all stand up and sing "Proud to be an American" - we sang it as the last song at his recent wedding!
Lisa -
When the Ravens won the Super Bowl in 2001, my husband and I were living in Canton. After the game, it was a nice night and it seemed like everyone in Baltimore City came out for an impromptu parade throughout Canton and Fells Point. What a fun celebration!
Dana -
I'm not a big football fan, but it was very exciting to live in the city and join the street celebrations when the Ravens won the Super Bowl in 2013.
Karen E. -
I love my Ravens! Whether it is going to a game at M&T or watching the game at Cross Street Market, I never miss a game with friends and family. My all-time favorite Ravens memory is when Ray Lewis would do his pre-game "squirrel dance" and get everyone pumped up! My other favorite memory is winning the Super Bowl in 2013 in New Orleans. Fingers crossed this year for a great season and going all the way!
Karen B. -
Watching Ray Lewis do the Squirrel Dance to Nelly's "Gettin' Hot in Here" as he took the field!
Sarah - Ya'll I simply do not have one favorite memory of the Ravens- I have many. My top two all-time favorite memories are attending Ray Lewis' last home game before he retired and being down in New Orleans for the Ravens 2013 Super Bowl win! I cannot put into words the energy in the air and excitement during both of those games. Go Ravens!
Heather
- My favorite time at M&T Bank Stadium will always be when the stadium parking lot is converted into the finish line area after the Baltimore Running Festival. Nothing looks as good as that stadium looks at Mile 26.

September 2017
From the Desk of Barb Clapp...
Fall marks the start of football season for many people including myself. My family and I absolutely love to attend Ravens games and cheer on our home team. The best part about the whole game day experience besides winning is tailgating! We attend the best tailgate right in the heart of the action put on by my longtime friend and my daughter's god mother, Sharon and her brother Rob. They go all out- seasonal flowers, decorations, signature cocktails, I could go on and on. I like to call Sharon the Tailgate Queen and Rob the King! We always have a great time, their tailgates never disappoint. When it's game time we join the crowds and parade up Ravens Walk, past the Ray Lewis statue, rub Johnny Unitas' shoe for good luck and head into the game! I'm looking forward to the season opener this weekend at M&T Bank Stadium! Go Ravens!
