The Taste of South Lake is Thursday!

A Tribute to Ann Dupee
Join us on Friday, November 18, at 7:15 a.m., at our next Monthly Chamber Breakfast as we pay tribute to Ann Dupee, one of the Chamber's biggest supporters and a Lake County icon. Ann has been inducted into four Halls of Fame. South Lake Hospital will be sharing a video with highlights of Ann's life from growing up in a small town in Washington state to a career in broadcasting, a ground-breaking career in public relations for the Ice Capades, and her life in South Lake. We'll also hear from some of the people who have known her in her various roles as journalist, council member and community activist.

SECRET - SHHH! We want to surprise Ann by requesting that those attend wear a hat. It can be as conservative or wacky as you wish.

If you are planning on attending, please register here.
The City of Clermont is Calling All Champions
Attracting more sport and tourism visitors is critical to the continued growth and success
of the city. A key to attracting both new and repeat visitors is delivering on the brand
promise and providing the best possible experience for guests. Developing a  community-wide appreciation for the sport and tourism industry is important in creating  a welcoming atmosphere.
We are gearing up to welcome Danish, Swiss and Norwegian Canoe and Kayak  athletes and would like your support!

How to Get Involved:
  • Extend a discount. Whether a free appetizer with meal purchase, complimentary desert/beverage or an attractions discount - coupons are a great way to capture enhanced revenue during this busy winter/spring athlete season.
  • Offer to host an "Arrival Team Party" at your business! Section an area for athletes, coaches and spectators to sample food, desert or drinks while providing a welcome that's sure to leave a lasting impression for repeat visits during their stay.
  • Connect with event hosts and collaborate on greater ways to extend your support.
  • Hang signs inside your business welcoming visitors and athletes.
  • Leverage social media in spreading awareness to your support for athletes and visitors to the City of Clermont "Choice of Champions!"
To get involved, or for more information, contact Shannon Schmidt at the City of Clermont at  sschmidt@clermonfl.org or 352-241-7355.
