C&G Expands White Collar Defense Team in Paris
We are pleased to announce the expansion of the firm's white collar defense and investigations team, as partner Muriel Goldberg-Darmon and counsel Guillaume Guérin have joined our Paris office. Muriel has nearly 20 years of litigation and consulting experience in the financial markets and financial services industry. She and Guillaume regularly counsel financial institutions, listed companies and their managers, investment funds, and insurance intermediaries on regulatory and compliance issues, investigations, and corporate transactions. They have significant experience in investigation, control, and sanction proceedings before the French financial market authority (Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)) and in international cooperation with foreign regulators as well as in related court proceedings. They also regularly handle public and private M&A transactions, securities offerings, corporate governance, and financial communications matters.

Prior to joining C&G, Muriel and Guillaume practiced in DLA Piper's Paris office. Guillaume also spent five years at the AMF.

"I am thrilled to join Cohen & Gresser as part of its dynamic Paris office. I'm particularly excited to join the firm's highly regarded team of regulatory and white collar defense attorneys and to work with them in expanding the practice within France and internationally," notes Muriel.

"Muriel and I have known each other since 2000 and have worked together on a number of extremely complex international matters. She is a wonderful addition to our expanding Paris office," said Johannes Jonas,  Managing Partner of the firm's Paris office.
