The National Hall in Ft Worth is hosting Czech Heritage Day Saturday with Jodie Mikula Orchestra. Lots of great comfort food and beverages. Houston Liederkranz is throwing the first of two Oktoberfest parties this month on Saturday night with Mike Gest & Night Session. Don't want to miss this chance to see Mike and the boys in lederhosen. Texas Heritage Music & Dance Club says it's fall y'all. Let's dance on Sunday at American Legion Hall in Sealy. Charles & The Fab 4 promises to play some polkas and waltzes along with all that great country music they play.
 
Have one last summer fling at the KC Hall on Whitney Dr. in Houston Saturday night. Rescheduled from Aug. 26, Red Ravens are ready to play! The Telstars will be over at Lodge 88 in Houston on Saturday night. And i f you're going to be near Round Top, DUCK! It's the annual - 145th to be exact - Schuetzenfest on Sunday. It's a great tradition where the Rifle Hall member who has the best score shooting at targets is crowned king and buys a keg for everyone! Music by Donnie Wavra & the Hi Liters.

Cancellation Reminders: Dozinky Polish Festival at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Houston originally set for Sept. 16-18, has been rescheduled for Oct. 27-29.
