REAA NEWSLETTER
A newsletter to keep you informed about what's "up with arts."

Letter from the BOD President:
All members and friends,

The month of July was a busy one for us!  We just wrapped up our 29th annual Summer Drama Workshop program.  All of the programs did a wonderful job with their shows.

August looks like another busy month for the organization!  The River's Edge Players continue to prepare for our production of "Disney's The Little Mermaid"!  The show will take place August 11, 12, and 13.  We are offering a character brunch prior to the matinee show on August 13.  See below for all of the details including ticket information.

We are also kicking off our 3 week Fun Family Nights events staring this Wednesday in Marlborough.  These are free festivals that are open to the public.  Festival details are below.

Our last Art in the Hall event of the season is currently hanging in Hudson Town Hall.  We will be sharing our schedule of shows for the next year shortly.

August is the beginning of our official Fiscal Year.  Programs like River's Edge School of Music and the River's Edge Chorale will be returning this fall.  We are expanding the River's Edge Players program with "Theater for Children" and a "One Act Play festival" this coming winter.

I am also excited to announce that we have hired Debra Vanderwerf as Interim Chief Administrative Officer.  For more information on Deb and the position, please read on below.

As we go into our new fiscal year, we are also continuing our membership drive in August.  If you are a former member of our organization, we ask that you consider renewing your membership this summer!  Your membership goes directly toward supporting our organization.

If you have any questions, please drop us an e-mail at: [email protected]

Warm Regards,
Lisa Schliker
REAA BOD President
