O'Reilly's Cure Restaurant and Pub

Just opened earlier this month, O'Reilly's Cure provides a variety of seating options, including outdoor patio with gas lanterns and a fire pit. DMA used accent wood walls, concrete countertops, and metal elements for a rustic-modern decor.  The high ceilings and large windows create an atmosphere both light-filled during the day and warm and inviting during the evening. Construction by Ledgewood Construction.

Salt Pine Social

Bath's newest restaurant  Salt Pine Social is  open to the public after a brief soft-opening. The exterior patio has an amazing custom rock wall by Green Island Stonework. The interior is subdued, but with nice touches of color and lighting. Construction by Burnham and Lobozzo/. More photos to follow next month.

Shipbuilders Scramble

DMA sponsored a hole and entered a team for the Shipbuilders Scramble at the Bath Golf Club. The event, with 27 teams, raised over $12,000 for the All-Sports Boosters for Morse High School athletics. Team DMA consisted of David, his brother Tim, Eric from Casco Bay Engineering, and Jeff from Apex Lighting Solutions. David did better in the raffles and auctions than the golf result.

US Open Cup

The New England Revolution have had a difficult season, so when they made it to the finals of the world's third-longest open soccer tournament in Dallas, TX, David and bunch of the Midnight Riders flew down to cheer them on.  The 103rd edition of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup featured FC Dallas hosting the Revs. As is common these days, the Revs jumped to a quick 1-0 lead, only to lose 4-2 in the end.

Views from the job site

A tricky addition / renovation in Freeport connected an existing house and garage at awkward angles. A tall foyer with a 2-story window will make for a dramatic entrance, and a new master bathroom on the second floor is a needed addition.

On the Drawing Board

DMA recently received approval by the Planning Board for the design of the new Corsican Restaurant in Freeport. The restaurant building burned to the ground this past April  The new design evokes some of the qualities of the original building, but with a little more care to modern amenities and code compliance. The new owners hope to start construction this fall.
