COLLEGE APPLICATION RESOURCEFAIROPP
FAIR OPPORTUNITY PROJECT
There are 471 students to every counsellor in America's public high schools. College application knowledge varies dramatically by family and geography. Application books and resources surrounding the process are expensive while a third of all college applicants spend up to tens of thousands for private admissions consultants.

We've created one of the highest-quality college application and financial aid guides that we are sending to every public high school in America--for free. We're getting students from every background and zip code a fair opportunity.

FREE & REDUCED MEAL BENEFITSNUTRITION
To continue free or reduced price meal benefits for students, each household must complete a new application every year. Free and Reduced Price Meal Benefits will end on September 18, 2017 if the household has not reapplied for SY 2017-2018. If there is an interruption in benefits or the household does not reapply, the household is responsible for payment of meals until the Free and Reduced Price Meal Application is approved.
To help assure continuation of benefits, the household will need to complete an online application by September 15, 2017 at www.fulton.schoollunchapp.com.  Be sure to list all the students in the household on the application.

PSAT/SAT DAY - OCTOBER 11PSAT
9-11 GRADE STUDENTS - THE PTSA IS COMING!PSATINFO
The PSAT is a key step in your child's journey to college! On Wednesday, October 11, all 9th-11th grade students will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT, a test of the skills and knowledge essential for college and career that students are learning in class.

We encourage your child to take advantage of the many benefits the PSAT/NMSQT offers:
  • Connects students to colleges and universities across the country, and to scholarship organizations.
  • Prepares students for the new SAT® and college and fuels practice recommendations on Khan Academy®.
  • Matches students with AP® courses that make the most of their academic strengths. AP classes can provide an edge in the admission process, and an opportunity to earn college credit.
Please use the below links to help your student better prepare for the PSAT. If you have any questions, please se Mrs. Morrison in suite 1360.

The College Board and Khan Academy® have partnered to make practicing easy and personal. At Khan Academy, you can access thousands of questions approved by the College Board, take four official SAT practice tests, and create personalized study plans based on your results.
Taking an SAT practice test is good practice for the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 10 because the assessments measure the same skills and knowledge in ways that make sense for different grade levels.
