Sanctuary House in Trinidad, Humboldt County
Sanctuary is an film-friendly coastal vacation home for those seeking a peaceful, uniquely tranquil experience where the beauty of art, architecture, and nature nourish the body and soul. The first U.S. built home designed by renowned West Vancouver architect, Brian Hemingway, culminates the owner's 20-year vision and plan for a spectacular coastal retreat. The style and craftsmanship of this home has been described as a piece of "green" artwork combining the natural elements of wood, glass, and slate to harmonize with the surrounding redwoods and unparalleled coastal views from Trinidad Head to Arcata and Eureka from virtually every room.
