National Sew a Jelly Roll Saturday - Sept 16th Come in and sew up a Jelly roll! Come in any time between 10am - 5pm to participate. We will have door prizes and snacks. There will be jelly rolls and patterns for you to purchase (with your bag a bargain discount!), or bring your own with you. Moda also has lots of free downloads in the bake shop. Bring a friend or three! You will bring your own machines and sewing supplies.
Please register so we will have a space for you.

Beginning Quilting 101
Date: Saturdays, September 23, 30,
October 7 and 14
Time: 1pm-3pm
If you have always wanted to learn to quilt then Beginning Quilting 101 is for you! In 4 weeks you will be able to complete a quilt top for a lap sized quilt (cutting and sewing homework is required).
- Learn about the basic tools required for quilting and choosing fabric
- Learn skills on how to read a pattern, rotary cutting and machine piecing
- Learn how to prepare your quilt top for quilting, quilting tips and how to bind and finish your quilt
- Tips and techniques to make your first quilt a winner will be provided
Test-drive one of our computerized sewing machines to complete your quilt.
