College Fair Held at Poly
Over 50 colleges and universities participated in the recent College Fair at Poly, in addition to representatives from the Maryland Higher Education Commission, YEAR UP, the Baltimore City Police Department Crime Lab and the US Army and US Marines. Students asked great questions and made good connections, leaving college admissions counselors very impressed! Many thanks to all involved for making it such a success for our students!
BPI Foundation Updates
The BPI Foundation made a $120K donation to the school for technology, allowing for much needed laptops, laptops carts, and smart boards to be purchased. This new technology offers much needed support so that cutting edge programs such as Project Led the Way (PLTW) could be enhanced at Poly.
PLTW helps engineering students become
tomorrow's problem solvers....today!

Through allowing Poly students to step into the role of an engineer to problem solve compelling, real-world challenges, which cultivate students from dreamers to collaborators and thinkers.
Thank you to all who made donations to the Foundation which allowed for this technology purchase! Bringing real world "tools of the trade" into the classroom ultimately contributes to the success of Poly students in the classroom and beyond!
