Welcome Our New Sexton!
We're very excited to welcome Chuck Guillotte as our newest Sexton for the Cathedral. Chuck is originally from Providence, R.I. and is an artist and an avid reader. He comes to us with a background in security and hospitality. Also, he's a volunteer at the Balboa Park rose garden. Please make Chuck feel welcome if you see him around campus.

Take Part in the First Think Dignity Showers
Monday, July 31, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Our Outreach Team is excited to announce a new partnership with Think Dignity, a non-profit organization that serves the poor and underserved, to provide a monthly shower offering to our neighbors who sleep outside. Think Dignity Showers will take place on the first Monday of each month, though the date will be shifted when there is a scheduling conflict. (This offering will be in addition to our monthly Showers of Blessings on the 2nd Saturday.) INFO: David Tremaine, tremained@stpaulcathedral.org

Serve Christ in Our Neighbors: Donate and Distribute Clothes
Monday, July 31, 11:30 a.m.
This is the final event in our inter-generational outreach series based on Matthew 25:35, "I was in prison, and you visited me... I was hungry, and you gave me food... I was naked, and you gave me clothing..." Childcare (ages 0 to 3) available; children 4+ are invited to participate. Bring clothes to donate and then hand them out to our neighbors who live outside. While we always appreciate all donations, we do have specific needs, based on who comes to get the clothes. Here are the items we can use:
  • Men's pants M-L 
  • Women's pants M-L 
  • Men's shirts M-L 
  • Women's shirts M-L 
  • Men's socks and underwear 
  • Women's socks and underwear 
  • Coats 
  • Sweaters 
  • Men's shoes 
  • Women's (athletic shoes, no smaller than sz 8)

Boys choristers in procession St Pauls Cathedral San Diego
Sign Up for Choir Camps
Boys: August 7-11. Open to all boys ages 7 and up with unchanged voices
Girls: August 14-18. Open to all girls ages 7 and up
Choir Camps are currently enrolling for prospective choristers, as well as returning choristers. Each week children learn basic musicianship skills, notation, and fundamental vocal technique along with fun activities and field trips. Fee: $125 per child, scholarships are available. Camp Spirit: Reduced Suggested Donation!
August 21 to 25, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., for children ages 
4- to 11-years-old,  $75 each, includes lunch and snacks (suggested donation), scholarships available
Camp Spirit is a fun week of camp where your child will learn key lessons about being on God's Superhero Team. Kids will participate in crafts, science experiments, and outdoor games. And on Friday, we will have Water Day at Balboa Park. Camp Spirit isn't just another recreational opportunity; it is about helping your child to see their God given skills that they can use to help "do good" and "seek peace" for the world (Psalm). August 16 through September 6, Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Small groups will be offered beginning this fall! Be a part of the leadership team by taking the facilitator training. This is your opportunity to shape this vital part of St. Paul's community life, spiritual growth, and to create spaces for deep spiritual friendships to form with people we would otherwise never get to know.
