JARI Microloan Client Celebrates 5 Years of Business

JARI would like to congratulate Franklin Street Bar & Grill on celebrating their 5 year anniversary. FSBG, a long time Microloan client, is located at 751 Franklin Street, Johnstown. They started their business venture in the fall of 2012 and have grown significantly over the years. Congratulations on the milestone, we are so proud of you!

Tree Tenders Training

Vision2025 is pleased to announce that as part of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy's current Master Tree Planning work in Johnstown, a Tree Tenders Training will be held at the library downtown on September 30. This is happening just a few weeks ahead of a tree planting where WPC will be installing 30 new street trees in neighborhoods across the city.

Tree Tenders is a statewide program which presents a great opportunity for citizens and professionals to learn about community forestry care, biologyand advocacy. Continuing Education credits are available to landscape architects, engineers, arborists and florists.

Facebook for Business: Taking a Closer Look

Thursday, October 5th, Shelley Johansson, Prime Design Solutions, will present an in-depth seminar on Facebook for small businesses. Attendees will learn what and when to post, ways to boost engagement and reach a larger audience, how to effectively advertise on Facebook, the power of Facebook events and much more.
 
This Lunch & Learn will be held at JARI Center (160 Jari Drive, Johnstown, PA) from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM. The registration is required at $5 per person and lunch will be provided.  Please register by October 3rd. No shows on the day of the event will be billed.
