Communication Survey Results
Thank you to all who completed a Parish Communication Survey back in the summer!  The Leadership Focus Group and Vestry were given an analysis of these surveys to understand how we communicate with our parishioners and to plan any needed improvements.

The Leadership Focus Group and the Vestry wish to thank Patt Nuessle for his invaluable work in formulating and analyzing the survey.

Youth from around the area will gather together on Friday morning (that's right, during school!) to help with convention related activities! It will be a fun event, but will also be an opportunity for our youth to hear what is going on throughout our diocese and meet other youth. For youth unable to participate during the day events on Friday, there will be an opportunity to join up Friday evening for the convention Eucharist and youth lock-in hosted right here at Saint Paul's! Have questions about the event? Please email Ranie . Please see the links provided below to register for the event:

Evensong Reception
Sunday, November 6, 6:30 PM, Tyler Hall

Dear Parishioners,

We are having an Evensong on November 6, at 5:30 PM. We need refreshments for the reception that will follow the service. Our receptions are attended by the community and we are known for our hospitality. Many of you have been very gracious and contributed to make these receptions successful. Please look at the following menu and if you can contribute, please contact me. You may bring your contribution to church that morning and leave it labeled with your name in the downstairs kitchen or you may bring it before attending the Evensong that afternoon. Please make arrangements to have your dish picked up after the reception.

I will respond to each of you individually and will send two updates for everyone to see before November 6. There is also a need for volunteers for preparation, serving, and clean up. If you are able to volunteer, please let me know.

Evensong

Sunday, November 6, 5:30
PM,  Nave
Evensong is the ancient service of Vespers and continues to be sung daily in cathedrals throughout the world. The Saint Paul's Choir sings Evensong twice during the year, in the fall and in the spring. Mark Dickens will be the guest organist and the service will include the premiere of the Preces and Responses composed by Heard Robertson, former Head Boy of the Canterbury Choir, now a dad with four children. Heard's brother, Jonathan, will be the cantor. Other music is by Gerre Hancock, John Rutter, and Edward Bairstow. A reception hosted by the parishioners of Saint Paul's Church follows in Tyler Hall. This is a great occasion to invite friends to visit Saint Paul's.
Coats for Kids at Craig
Beginning this Sunday
Fall is here. These cool days and clear, chilly nights are great when you have a good coat or jacket. But it's hard to concentrate on school if you are shivering with cold. Many kids at Craig-Houghton Elementary School are facing just that situation as we head toward winter. We need donations of boys' and girls' coats and jackets from children's size 6 through adult extra-large. New and gently used light jackets and heavier coats are both needed, along with hats, gloves, and scarves. Donation boxes are located in the narthex and in Tyler Hall.  If you would questions or would like more information about our programs at Craig-Houghton Elementary contact Kathy Enicks.
