In this age of instant communication, in a society greatly influenced by social media, some things are still best when done face to face.

Grace Touch
Facilitating Global Impact
Raising the Dead
By Melissa Kreis & Viki Rife

The tension was palpable around the long dining room table. The question hung in the air, then slowly began to settle like dust on the women sitting there.
The truth was that their women's ministry was dying. Less and less women came to the monthly meetings. The leaders were burned out and discouraged. As a last resort, they had called in the paramedics-it was time for intense CPR. Their pastor was invited to join them.
The visiting CPR team asked the pastor to outline the mission of the church. After he shared his desire to reach their community for Christ, the team leader turned to the gathered women and asked, "How do you see the women fitting into this mission?" (

"The Same Page"

Last year, our church held a Face Team meeting with our pastors, elders and women involved with ministry in the church. Our pastor was thrilled with how many people showed up for the meeting. The elder board was awakened to the potential of ministry for the women in our church. And the women came away with a new understanding of the vision of our pastors and elders for our church. Now we're on the same page, working towards the same goals.
Women of Grace USA has a vision to help women mature spiritually and be able to teach other women and girls about God and His word. We cannot effectively carry out our goals without your support. It takes lots of planning and work to do the training and classes necessary to ensure the spiritual growth of women in our churches across the nation. Please consider supporting Women of Grace USA through a monthly donation. Together we can prepare Godly women to teach and support each other in our walk with the Lord. "I Have Seen God Face to Face and Lived!"

The Samaritan woman came face to face with the God-Man, the Lord Jesus Christ, as He asked her for a cup of water at the local well. Before long, she became a vibrant testifier of Jesus. Her face shone with the glory of God.
Even though we may not be aware of His glory in us, He is still seen in our faces as ones who have been with Jesus. Where is God's glory going to be seen today because of His Presence within you?
Pray for our face-to-face encounters with the women and pastors of our fellowship of churches as Women of Grace, USA seeks to encourage women to be fully-formed disciples who shine with the glory of God to their world.

Mom to Mom: What Marriage Isn't
By Kate Ward

This month, I celebrate 15 years of marriage. A part of me can't believe it has been that long, and the other part of me can't remember my life before I was married. It has truly been an adventure. It has been hard, fun, sad, frustrating, joyful, surprising, satisfying, and humbling. Like most of life, the good part has made the hard part worth it.
Looking back, I can't help but be proud of us. But I am not proud because we have such a great marriage, I am proud that we have been faithful to each other no matter what. On our wedding day we promised that faithfulness, and with God's strength we have been able to keep that vow.
Sometimes I wish I would have known how difficult this commitment was 15 years ago. Not because I wouldn't have made the choice, but because I would have had a lot more grace on myself when I thought I was "doing it wrong." After all these years, I still don't know if I could tell you exactly what marriage is supposed to be. But I can tell you what I believe marriage isn't. (
