There are several areas in the church in need of some TLC. From painting the church office, swapping out the broken ceiling tiles, the Loukoumades machine, window cleaning, a broken kneel bar in the sanctuary, to cobwebs in the basement. If you would be willing to donate your efforts to tackle one of these projects, we can work around your schedule. Please contact the Parish Manager at amy@holytrinity-lansing.org to discuss details.

Over the summer any young man is welcome to serve in the altar at any liturgical event; Altar Servers are needed especially for the Sunday Divine Liturgy.
Our Sunday School Program is in need of TWO full-time teachers this fall. In addition, we need teacher helpers and subs. The preschool in particular needs extra hands for the upcoming school year. If you love children and are interested in this opportunity, please contact our Sunday School Director,  Dana Gavrilides gavrilides_d@yahoo.com

Any parish family or organization that would like to host a summer coffee hour as a way to raise funds for a parish function should call the church office to schedule a coffee hour in July or August. Speak with Amy, the Parish Manager, at 517- 482-7341.

Seeking Loving Host Families for YFU Exchange Students. Youth for Understanding (YFU) needs host families for some high school exchange students for the 2017-18 school year.

Many students are willing to attend their host family’s religious services as often as they do. Rana from Japan is involved with her schools choir group and Nando from Germany is involved in a community youth group.

This is just a sampling of available students, and you can request more details about any of them or see more at www.yfuusa.org/meetstudents.

Many different kinds of families can host – you don't need to have high school age kids – just the ability to be a good parent for a high school student, and to open your heart to another child. Most students stay from August through June, though you can host for a shorter time. The students bring their own spending money and health insurance and can share a room with a host sibling. Take a leap of faith! Host a YFU exchange student!

For more information contact Deb Fry at 517.750.8696 or dfry@yfu.org. You can also visit www.yfuusa.org to fill out an online application.
