Be Faithful
Faithfulness - "adhering firmly and devotedly to a person, cause, or idea; loyal."
What would happen if you gave 15 minutes a day (1%) to God? Challenge yourself to commit to daily personal prayer with Christ, reading Scripture, and taking quiet time to sit and listen to God's will.

Future City is an after-school enrichment club offered to 8th graders at St. Anthony.  The club meets two times a week after school.  The students imagine, research, design and build a city of the future and then compete in a school competition with the top two teams moving onto the regional competition held at the Milwaukee School of Engineering in January. Advisors to the club are Ms. Duellman-Arndt (Gr. 8) and Mrs. Kahler (Gr. 6). The engineer mentor is Mr. Jim Buggs.
The goal of the Future City Competition is to integrate science, math, technology, and engineering into a multi-step collaborative project.  In addition, the competition teaches 21st century skills such as team collaboration, research, and public speaking.
The students spent time sorting through f un recycled finds they can incorporate into their models.  Look for further updates on how their projects are coming along!

Morning Mass Reflection:

October 19, 2016
From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,

We are certainly looking at a busy end to the first quarter! On Monday, the students participated in the Living Rosary! We had a beautiful afternoon outside and, because of our numbers, we were able to have two rosaries going at the same time! Talk about storming the heavens with prayer! Your kids were first in line!

Blessings!
Mrs. Knippel
