Reflection

Love
Mountain spring
Drawn from the depths
Cascading, watering,
Nudging new growth.
Seeker of conversion
Erasing sharp edges
in its path,
Thirsting for the ocean
Repository of the Divine.

Webinar shares the stories of three Franciscan saints

The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration invite you to spend some time on All Saints' Day learning about three Franciscan saints who lived radically during medieval times.

"Franciscan in the Streets," a live webinar presented by Sister Sarah Hennessey, perpetual adoration coordinator, will air Tues., Nov. 1, 2016. Watch live from noon to 12:30 p.m. Central or 6 to 6:30 p.m. Central.

As your host, Sister Sarah will introduce you to three Franciscan women: Rose of Viterbo, Angela of Foligno and Margaret of Cortona. Sister Sarah offers modern day approach and invites us to consider our reactions to serving with love in the 21st century.

The audience is invited to participate in Q&A at the end of Sister Sarah's presentation.

Simply watch via your personal computer
(with internet access) at www.youtube.com/franciscansisters. If you're unable to join live, the recording will be available on the YouTube channel after the presentation.

FSPA welcomes names of your dearly departed, will hold in prayer

During November, the church pauses and remembers in a special way all of our loved ones who have gone before us.

In the practice of perpetual adoration we remember those who have gone before us every hour. In particular, we pray for the sisters, prayer partners and affiliates who have died on each day, as well as for our friends and family. During the month of November, we invite you to send the names of your dearly departed for special prayers of remembrance.
