COMING SEPT 21st: MARKETFEST!

20 Vendors ~ "Herbie" Beer Release ~ Family Bands ~ Food Trucks ~ Cash Bar
Yarmouth Farmers Market
Thursday,  September 14,  3-6pm
Hello Local Food Lovers,

If you're a regular at our farmers market,  you know we have 2 types of vendors. The seasonal vendors are with us almost every week for most of the season, while the guest vendors come  just once or only on occasion. Sometimes, as in the case of Bubbe and Bestemor Baking Co.  and Steindry Sustainable Snacking, guest vendors become regulars and we find ourselves "in a relationship."

I've come to love the turnover at the market. It keeps things fresh for you, our customers,  and it reflects the change of the seasons in Maine and the rich tapestry of artists, craftspeople and food entrepeneurs who live here.

Apple Lovers! Sweetser's Orchards Joins Us For Apple Season!
Sweetsers Orchards of Cumberland joins us this week with an array of apples. They'll likely be on board through the end of our market season October 12.

Our friends from Fork Food Lab will return, with a
selection of treats from their members. Be sure to visit Mill Cove Baking Company's booth. Nina makes yummy hand-made crackers that will leave you wanting more.

Market Favorites Chris Moore & Ted DeMIlle Play on the Porch
On the porch this week, 317 Main's Director of Music Education, Chris Moore, will be joined by Ted DeMille with a mix of bluegrass, folk and original material from 4-5pm. Thanks to 317 Main for connecting us with musicians of their caliber!

No food truck this week, but Spün (inside 317 Main) is now making savory frittata and the Somali Bantu farmers are making sambusas.  Paired with salad-fixings from the market, dinner is served.

Please put next week's  MarketFest on the
calendar. MarketFest is an expanded market day when we run from 3-7pm. We'll have 3 hours of  live music featuring families who jam together, a cash bar AND market exclusive beer release from
Liquid Riot , plus two food trucks, Mainely Meatballs and Mashed.

Thanks as always for supporting Maine farmers, small business owners and artists. We look forward to seeing you!

See you Thursday!
