Jeri Kendle
Jeri Kendle has over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit and for-profit arenas in the areas of leadership, executive management, social enterprise, and development.  Over the past 10 years, Jeri worked with Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), where she served as president for 5 years and initiated many sustainable SARRC-owned businesses and programs, including CommunityWorks, which was ultimately licensed in five major cities across Canada; and SARRC's Beneficial Beans coffee and cafÄ—s, along with a sustainable garden program.
 
Earlier in her career, Jeri was president of one of Arizona's largest, award-winning, multi-disciplinary design firms and was an adjunct professor at ASU's School of Design.


Linda Fine
Linda Fine brings over 20 years of fundraising and development communication experience to The Phoenix Philanthropy Group.  Linda's career highlights include: a ssociate director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern University; d irector of development and alumni relations at the Arizona State University College of Law (now the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law); director of leadership gifts at Thunderbird School of Global Management; and senior writer and stewardship manager at The Brookings Institution.

In addition, she has served as a development and communications consultant to a number of organizations throughout the United States. 

ULV and Cal Maritime Take Top CASE Honors


This year, two Phoenix Philanthropy clients were recipients of CASE's (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) 2017 Educational Fundraising Awards, which recognize U.S. institutions for overall performance and improvement in educational fundraising programs.

The University of La Verne was honored in the Top Overall Improvement category for Private Research/Doctoral Institutions with Endowments Under $1.2 Billion. The University has seen a 134% increase in fundraising between 2013 and 2016. 

"The University of La Verne is flourishing," President Devorah Lieberman said. "Our students and faculty are receiving national attention for their achievements, and that has created a swell of support from our friends, alumni, and community partners. This award recognizes their generosity, as well as the leadership and hard work of our Board of Trustees and Office of University Advancement."

Congratulations also go to California State University Maritime Academy for receiving the Top Overall Performance award for Public Liberal Arts Institutions.
