Don't Forget - It Is Time to Renew Your ACSO Membership

Building a thriving community takes passion, energy, and commitment. Orchestral music and performance cannot be produced and sustained without a strong management base. ACSO exists to provide essential leadership and resources to you, the classical music producers and presenters, and to encourage and support your artistic, organizational, and fiscal development.

Membership in ACSO delivers:
  • Networking and Inspiration - channels to communicate and collaborate with peers, professionals, and experts.
  • Professional Development and Education - annual conference, convenings, consultants for your organization, and mentoring for you and your staff focusing on the shifts, trends, and movement in culture and community.
  • Advocacy and Resources - a voice to your concerns and issues, and the resources to solve them.

ACSO executive director Mitch Menchaca has been elected to the board of directors for DataArts, formerly known as the Cultural Data Project. DataArts was founded to bring the language and leverage of data to the business of culture. The Cultural Data Profile (CDP) is DataArts' flagship service, which thousands of cultural nonprofits use annually to report their financial and programmatic information. A majority of California arts grantmakers, including the California Arts Council require applicants to use the CDP tool.
