A preview of what St. James children are up to - more to come!
Thoughts from the Director
Dear Families,
Welcome to a new program year! The church is buzzing with all of the new activities this Fall. This Sunday is the start of Sunday school so if you haven't registered your child yet you can do that on Sunday or the link below. If your child is not involved please check out the many ways children can participate at St. James. We would love to have your children come and see all that we do! Be sure to come to the Cookout/Open House this Wednesday, more information is below.

Blessings,

Sunday School
Godly Play ages 3 - 1st grade

The youngsters use the Godly Play Curriculum to retell Bible stories using props, art and music. They enjoy learning catchy Bible songs, and the basic of our Episcopal tradition. In November they will participate in the Wichita Alternative Gift Market. The most important thing they learn is that God's love is with them throughout their lives and that they can show God's love by the way they live in harmony with others.
Episcopal Children's Curriculum (ECC) 2nd - 5th grade

The older students use ECC to help them deepen their understanding of God in their lives. They also participate in the Wichita Alternative Gift Market. Their goal, like the Godly Play curriculum, is to learn about God's love and how they can show God's love by the way they live with others, just as those in their church home nurture and care for them.
Cookout/Open House

Join us this Wednesday for a cookout starting at 5:30pm to kickoff the program year. We will also have an open house during this time for our children and youth programs. If your kids haven't been involved and are interested or if they attended last year, you can meet the teachers and youth group leaders, visit the classrooms, sign your child up for activities and meet other kids and parents. Please bring a side dish to share.
Classes for Adults

This Fall, we are introducing over 13 classes for adult formation. Click here to read about them and find a class that interests you. There is a wide variety of subjects and all are offered at different times and days. Be sure to be part of the fun!
