The chilly fall weather is finally here and the library is just warming up. There are enough fun programs, great books, films and convenient electronic resources to keep you warm until next summer.
Since re-opening one month ago, after a quick interior update, the library hosted, "The Passion and Joy of Hispanic Music" with acclaimed international violinist, Dr. David Podles. Patrons clapped along, enjoyed and celebrated a rich tradition of Hispanic music. You can almost hear the music when you look at pictures from the event. Please enjoy!
If you love classical music (or rock n' roll, R&B, pop, etc.) make sure to try the streaming service
HOOPLA. Not only can you enjoy music, but audio books, e-books, television shows and movies. Whether you are on the go and commuting or staying in on a cold November night, remember
HOOPLA and start streaming!
We hope that you enjoy all of the services the library has to offer. Enjoy the programs that we offer during November and December and stay tuned for many exciting programs, services and collection additions in 2017!
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Kristin Nelson, Library Director

"So dull and dark are the November days. The lazy mist high up the evening curled, And now the morn quite hides in smoke and haze; The place we occupy seems all the world."
