Election Day grows nearer and many Arizonans already have their early ballots. With a couple weeks until Election Day, it is more important than ever to resolve to send in your early ballot or plan to go vote on Tuesday, Nov.8. Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell shares her office's technology evolution
Nearing the conclusion of her third decade of service in Maricopa County, Helen Purcell continues to embrace technology that makes both recording vital documents and ensuring accurate elections increasingly easy and secure. In addition to recording approximately 3,000 documents each day, Purcell's office is also responsible for conducting elections in Maricopa County, where there are 2.1 million registered voters.

Dec. 8: Capitol Conversations - A morning with state legislators
Chamber and state leaders will provide tips on effectively working with legislators and provide a toolkit to take back to your business. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion with lawmakers focused on key business community topics including economic development, education, the state budget and transportation and infrastructure. Join us  Dec. 8.  Check-in is from 8:30 - 8:45 a.m. and the p rogram is from 8:45 - 10 a.m.

Jan. 12: Legislative Kick-Off Reception
Kick off the 2017 legislative session with splashes of wine and culture! Join the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce at the Phoenix Art Museum to mix politics with business. Lawmakers and the business community are invited to our five-time Arizona Capitol Times "Best of the Capitol" award-winning reception honoring the start of the First Regular Session of Arizona's 53rd Legislature. Join us Jan. 12 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

This is where we need the assistance of Chamber members and supporters of a strong business community.  ***Note: Chamber dues do not go towards the election of political candidates.
