Congratulations to Zone 4 members who participated in the USHJA Children's and Adult Amateur Hunter South Regional Championships, presented by SmartPak, in Conyers, Georgia, June 21-25.

In the Adult Amateur Team Championship, Zone 4 members  Wendy Rice, Margaret Weaver, and Emily Mitzel took home the gold medal. Zone 4 team Caroline Carr, Kimberly Middlebrooks, Samantha Kramig, Heather Conder, took home the silver medal.

In the Children's Team Championship, Zone 4 swept the medals with Sara White, Victoria Herran, and Katie Kittrell, earning the gold medal. Madison Hill, Katherine Habeeb and Addison Benio took home the silver medal and Kat Fuqua, Alexandra Kozel, and Campbell Key brought home the bronze medal. Special thanks to Zone 4 Chef d'Equipe David Pellegrini for leading riders at the Championships. Read more about the Team Championships here.

Congratulations to Zone 4 members who earned medals in the Individual Championships including Children's gold medalist Sara White, silver medalist Alexandra Kozel and bronze medalist Campbell Key. Congratulations to the Zone 4 members who participated in the Adequan/FEI North American Children's, Junior and Young Rider Championship, presented by Gotham North, July 18-23 at HITS in Saugerties, New York.

Children's:  Zachary Yariv, 14, Wellington, Fla.

Junior:  Faith Davis, 17, Gurley, Ala.,  Mary Katherine Hargreaves, 18, Alpharetta, Ga., and  Catalina Peralta, 14, Geneva, Fla.

Young Rider:  Lucas Porter, 20, Wellington, Fla.

Zachary Yariv received the Captain Andrew B. DeSzinay Memorial Sportsman Trophy, which is given to the young rider who best personifies the high standards and virgues of integrity, sportsmanship, honor, courage, team spirit, good temper and unselfishness.
