Parent Organizations
Lake Forest High School offers an abundance of opportunities for parents to get involved.  Consider the opportunities listed below and we welcome your participation.
LFHS Foundation
foundation
T he LFHS Foundation is an all-volunteer organization that helps bridge the gap between tax dollars received by the district and the cost of providing a high-quality education in the 21st century.  Students and teachers look to our resources to provide cutting-edge technology, best-in-class teaching methods, and classroom enhancements that would not otherwise be possible.

November is "LFHS Foundation Month"
Every November the LFHS Foundation takes time to thank our donors for their tremendous generosity and to ask those who have not yet given to join us in our mission to "advance academics for all students."
Grants from the Foundation help bridge the gap between tax dollars received by the district and the cost of providing a high-quality education in the 21st century. Students and teachers look to the Foundation to provide cutting-edge technology, best-in-class teacher training, and enhanced learning spaces and opportunities like the Business Incubator, the Makerspace, the College and Career Resource Center, and the new World Language and Social Studies Learning Labs.

This November our goal is to enroll 115 new donors. If you haven't donated yet, please be on the lookout for our fall solicitation letter that should arrive by November 1st. Or you can make a tax-deductible donation by simply   clicking here.

Here are some other ways you can support the Foundation during November . . . and beyond:
  • Wednesday, November 9: Order from Bake425 in Lake Forest between 12:00 - 8:00 pm, and at least 15% of all designated purchases (including gift cards) will go to the Foundation. Just mention "LFHS Foundation" when ordering or picking up.

  • Thursday, November 17: Stop by Chipotle in Lake Bluff between 4:00-10:00 pm and 50% of all designated purchases will go to the Foundation. Just be sure to mention "LFHS Foundation" when paying.

  • November 27 - December 3: Kick off your holiday shopping season by stopping by J Crew in downtown Lake Forest. J Crew will donate up to 10% of all designated purchases made this week to the Foundation. The more sales, the higher the donation! Just mention 'LFHS Foundation" when making your purchase.

  • November 1 - 30: Shop on-line at Beautycounter (www.beautycounter.com/bethclemmensen) and 25% of all purchases made during the month of November will be donated to the Foundation. Just click the "LFHS Foundation Month" social tab at the top of the webpage and any purchase made there will be eligible. Pamper yourself and those on your gift list with beautiful skin care and cosmetic products made with safer ingredients, while supporting the Foundation.

  • Thursday, December 8: Join us at Evereve on Market Square in Lake Forest from 6:30-8:30 pm for a holiday shopping party with 15% of all purchases made during the event going to the Foundation. This is another great way to get some holiday shopping done while supporting a great local cause.
More information on each of these events will be coming soon, so be sure to check your e-mails throughout November. To learn more about the Foundation or to make a tax-deductible donation simply
