Alternative to Capitalism: A Historical Perspective
John is one of the most engaging speakers the Club has had. His in-depth knowledge is captivating as he takes the audience into a journey of America - past and present.
John L. Hancock is generally recognized as one of the leading figures in the field of American exceptionalism, conservative history, and the foundational infrastructure of English-speaking societies. His bestselling book, Liberty Inherited, has been hailed as "one of the most significant of our times" and as "a refreshing antidote to the prevailing historical schools on both sides of the Atlantic." The significance of John's work has extended beyond America and has received recognition by Conservatives in the British, Australian and European Parliaments.
Besides writing, John speaks professionally on the genesis of American liberty and freedom. Through his knowledge of history, John demonstrates how conservative principles of limited government, individual freedom, private property, and free-market economics have a 500+ year track record of producing freedom and prosperity in every society that embraces them. In other word, as John emphatically states, "conservatism is the Proven Alternative."
John is the First Vice-President of the American Freedom Alliance, a non-partisan, non- aligned movement which promotes, defends and upholds Western values and ideals. The Alliance sponsors conferences, publishes opinions, distributes information and creates networking groups to identify threats to Western civilization.
John is co-host of the Unite IE Radio Show, which airs on KTIE AM 590 (part of the Salem
Radio Network
). He was also a co-organizer and participant of the 2015 Magna Carta: The 800 Year Struggle for Human Liberty Conference held in LA and a co-organizer of the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Unite IE Conservative Conference held in Riverside, CA.
