SEARCH COMMITTEE UPDATE
Dear St. Stephen's congregation,
I am writing to you to keep you up to date on what your Search Committee is working on. As I hope you have heard we will have an Appreciative Inquiry Summit on June 11th. If at all possible please plan on attending. I know, I know it will be a long day. On the bright side, you get to spend time with your friends. The purpose of this Inquiry is to get your feedback on who we are and what you want your search committee to look for in a new rector. If you can't attend but you would still like to be a part of the Inquiry Please feel free to contact me and we will try to have a Search Committee member come visit you to get your input.
What is your desired future for St. Stephen's? We would love to hear all about it.
In your service,
Janet Thorsrud, Co-Chair of Search Committee

APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY SUMMIT SUNDAY, JUNE 11 -- 9:00 AM* to 2:00 pm
On Sunday, June 11, the 8am and 10am worship services will be combined at 9am for
the next step in the process of transition to call a permanent rector to St. Stephen's.
The morning will begin at 9am with a shortened worship service and music by Bruce Ahlvin. The Rev. Edward Wilson will preside. Following the service, Joanna Shreve, our search consultant from the Diocesan Office will lead the summit.
The purpose of this congregational meeting is to gather information from members to include in our Parish Profile for the search: What do we do best as a congregation?; What is life-giving for us as a congregation?; What are our core values?; and What are our dreams for the congregation in the future?
It is very important that as many members of the congregation that can, attend to tell our stories about what is best about St. Stephens in-the-Field to help define our core values, and discern our path into the future.
9:00 am -- Worship Service / Holy Eucharist with music by Bruce Ahlvin
10:00 am -- Appreciative Inquiry begins
12:00 pm -- Lunch catered by Panera
Childcare will be provided.

NEW FUND RAISER FOR ST. STEPHEN'S
Melaleuca Products
Helping you Lead a Healthier Life !
We have great news! St. Stephen's has partnered with Melaleuca, a USA manufacturing company that offers a charitable fundraising program that allows non-profit, 501C3 programs like ours, an easy way to incur extra income without much extra effort or extra money or time from you!
This shopping club is loosely structured like eScrip. Every time a family shops, St. Stephen's will receive 5% of the total purchase. Each family can shop from a wide assortment of common household consumables from this online store which provides high quality, concentrated, eco-friendly products that contain no toxic ingredients or harsh chemicals. They are higher quality than name brands, less expensive than Target, Costco, Walmart. Healthier for your families, your children/athletes and yourself and your pets while at the same time being environmentally conscientious.
There are over 500 items to choose from and all you do is simply switch stores, save money and benefit St. Stephen's! Through this unique non-profit partnership, the more families who volunteer to shop every month for a portion of your everyday household products, the more money will be donated to St. Stephen's. It's a Win-Win fundraiser for both you and St. Stephen's. Contact Susie Good - Tom and I have used these products for over 25 years and we love them!

GIFT CARD PROGRAM...
by Janet Thorsrud
Hey my friends,
With so much going on for the next couple of weeks, the next Scrip order will be due on June 25th. Let me know if you need anything special. If you're traveling this summer you can purchase a gift card for Southwest Airlines. As soon as your check clears you can print the voucher right away ( usually the next day) and then order your tickets. It's very easy to use.
I'm trying out Hilton gift cards next week. I'll let you know how it goes.
We have A few Amazon cards and Safeway cards in the office.
Cheers,
Janet
