 Dear District 115 Parent/Guardian,
To enhance communications between the school and families, District 115 is instituting a new telephone, email and text message emergency broadcast system, BrightArrow. This system replaced Honeywell Instant Alert.
The BrightArrow system will enable school personnel to notify all households and parents by telephone and through a variety of devices within minutes of an emergency or unplanned event that causes an early dismissal, school cancellation, or a late start.
IMPORTANT: Please use this link to register and update your
BrightArrow contact information following the instructions below:
1. Enter the email address that you provided when you registered your student for
school (during InfoSnap online registration).
2. Click "Register New User." Do NOT enter a password on this page.
3. On the new password page, enter your desired password twice.
4. Click "Register" and follow the instructions on the online profile page. The top
blue
portion of the form contains the information you supplied at registration.
To change
this phone number you must contact Tiffany Smith, Registrar at 847-582-7313
or [email protected]. In the lower
green portion of the form you can:
- Add up to three additional phone numbers and two email addresses to your BrightArrow profile.
- Elect to be contacted by voice calls and/or text messages.
- Add contact information of other caretakers of your children, such as a grandparent or neighbor.
5. When finished updating your account, click APPLY at the bottom of the page to save
your changes, and the TEST button at the bottom of the page to test your changes.
Once these steps have been completed you are ready to go. You can log in and
update your information (in the green portion of the form) at any time; using your
email address and the password you created. If you have changes to your school
