In honor Sukkot, enjoy this slide show of the various fun activities that our students have enjoyed in preparation and during Sukkot!
|
SHAKE IT OFF Morah Aviva's EC3 class spent some time in the Sukkah and took turns saying the bracha and shaking the Lulav and Etrog followed by the creation and enjoyment of a Graham Cracker Sukkah snack.
CHAINED TOGETHER Morah Rinat's 5th graders worked on fun Sukkot decorations that were added to the RMBA Sukkah.
 DREAMWEAVERS Mrs. Massey's students recently completed reading the BFG by Roald Dahl and in honor of this classic, created their own colorful and creative dream jars.
BIG DEBATE Joshua Danziger (r) and Yisrael Carmel (l) are running for class president in Ms. Jan Bigham's class, and are participating in a debate with Jacob Silberlicht (c) as the moderator while the candidates have run honorable campaigns. TOGETHER WE BUILD Morah Elizabeth's EC2 students proudly stand by their collaborative Sukkah they created displayed outside their classroom.
KINGDOM COME Students in Ms. Fowler's class learning about the 5 Kingdoms: protoctista, plant, animal, fungus, and prokaryote. Following this activity, they ate samples from each kingdom.
 BLOWING IN THE WIND Kindergarten students (l-r) Roi Chorev, Yuli Terrill and Anaelle Levenstein show their beautiful sukkah decorations that they took home to add to their own sukkahs.  IT TAKES A VILLAGE High School students assist with the assembly of the school Sukkah and thanks in large part to Mr. Tapia who completed who completed the Sukkah on Sunday.  CELERY STALKERS Mr. Riklin's 2nd grader science students Talia Babajanov and Abe Fink listen attentively while in week 8 of their plant life studies with their blooming celery stick on full display.
 JUDAIC JEOPARDY Morah Judy's 2nd graders have a little fun while reviewing the recent Parsha they have covered with Judaic Jeopardy.  ART IS ALIVE 10th Grader Esther Gerlitz is working on a piece for AP Art that is inspired by the Judaic symbolism of the pomegranate.
BLUE BONNET BAGS Elementary school blue bonnet participants gathered for lunch in the art room to enjoy a colorful trivia quiz while enjoying rainbow twizzlers as prizes for their hard work.

High School Volleyball
he High School girls earned the victory against Briarwood on Thursday, October 13th to go 2-0 this season against the Lady Mustangs. The girls will host the final game of the season on Thursday, October 20th against Brazosport Christian. Complete Volleyball Game schedules can be found by clicking
