IvyNotes: Week of September 11th

W elcome to IvyNotes, our  weekly sneak peak into what's happening at school including a look ahead with dates and event details to help keep you informed. IvyNotes will be sent out each Sunday evening and will often provide links to our website for more information. 

We hope that you had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. We are pleased to have had a successful start to the school year. To those of you who are new members of our Ivymount family, welcome! To those of you who are returning, welcome back! On behalf of the entire staff, we are looking forward to a wonderful year.

We want to remind you to email [email protected] when your child is absent from school. (Click here for a link to our Family Handbook - details for excused absences are on pages 11 and 12.)
 
Also, if you drive your child to school, please be sure to use caution and patience as you enter and exit our parking lot. We have a wonderful transportation team in the lot each day ready to assist with traffic. Please help them keep everyone safe.

Looking forward to seeing all of you this Tuesday at Back to School Night.

Reminder:
Back to School Night 
is this Tuesday, September 12th  at 6:30 p.m.
 
 
 
After School Arts and Athletics Program 
The Fall Session will begin October 10th and run up to Winter Break.

Participating students transition from their classroom directly to this after school activity on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
