WOMEN TALK is an evening gathering where women present and share their inspiring stories, thoughts, ideas and experiences. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn and you’ll be entertained by amazing WOMEN TALKers! The evening will be fast-paced with each presenter speaking for 15-20 minutes, TED TALK style. We are ordinary women, sharing extraordinary stories! Everyone's uniqueness is celebrated. It is a beautiful harmonious place where you can feel the unconditional love of the Divine Feminine.

Lynn MacDonald
Our Parallel Empowerment Journeys
Lynn MacDonald is the Head Empowerment Warrior for Empowerment Inc. She is a 20 year member of the Calgary Police Service and has been teaching Personal Safety for 10 years. Prior to her policing career, Lynn was an Emergency Medical Technician and spent time in the Canadian Armed Forces. Lynn and Shelley quickly realized that their individual empowerment journeys were a stellar match both personally and professionally. Their shared common vision of a world where all people are safe, confident and empowered – led to the inspired creation of Empowerment Inc.
Shelley Hayes

Shelley Hayes is the Chief Empowerment Officer for Empowerment Inc. She holds a Master’s Degree in both Business Administration and Management, as well as a Certified Professional Coaching certificate, specializing in leadership. Prior to Empowerment Inc., her career specialized in Executive coaching and Organizational & Leadership Development both in the not-for-profit and corporate sectors
